Pufaan designs everyday smart and sustainable objects. The brand brief is deliberately narrow: products that earn pocket space, age calmly and avoid features that exist only for marketing slides.
Design for everyday, not novelty
Novelty wears off. Everyday does not. We design for wallet thickness, desk light, bag corners and introductions that should feel composed—not theatrical.
Materials before features
Materials lead. For leather crust programmes that means grade honesty and finishing room for manufacturers. For NFC cards that means a hand that feels finished without shouting. Read more on materials in Why Sustainable Everyday Objects Matter.
Restraint is not emptiness—it is editing until the object has one clear job.
Restraint as a product decision
Every feature must survive a delete test: if removing it does not hurt the primary job, it should not ship. That keeps interfaces, packaging and typography quieter.
Testing in real hands
Prototypes move into real pockets early. Feedback that stays in presentation rooms does not shape a durable object.
What comes next
What comes next stays close to the same brief—smarter everyday objects without spectacle. See current work under Products and the story of our category under About.
